Approximately 13,8 billion years ago,
give or take a bit.
A tiny spot who'd had enough
felt his sides were about to split!
This space we're in won't take anymore.
It's time at last to break down the door!
As soon as the magic bag slit,
cosmic ingredients started to spit.
Out they came, their internment freed,
accelerating quickly, achieving light speed.
It took all of 0,1 ms after their birth,
for the flow to cool and particles merge.
The quarks & leptons metamorphosing into
protons and neutrons, paving way for the new!
A full second later with no sound of a sigh,
there emerged a complete atomic nuclei!
Shortly after i.e. a couple of minutes,
a new phase occurs, the nucleo synthesis.
This stage involved a tad decomposition
linking the chain to its next condition.
And 'entering stage left',
we welcome helium 4 plus hydrogen,
which mixture humans forever are beholden!
Roughly 350 000 years later,
with a temperature considerably lower.
Electron's pace, now much slower,
allowed the atomic nuclei to gain more power.
And hey presto, the first complete atom
came into flower!
What ignited this life giving event,
surely a gift heaven sent.
Learn'ed men have pondered what behind it could lie,
which of their theories will apply?
A singularity is one way to explain
but this implies observation of the same.
Not possible science claims, despite their best aims.
With 'event horizon phenomena' shielding the proof,
perhaps quantum physics instead
will provide the truth.
